Where Toronto’s mayoral race candidates stand

With two months down and eight to go, Toronto’s leading mayoral candidates have begun carving out their positions on some emerging election issues, including transit, bike lanes and particularly the city’s financial troubles.

The Star looked at where the five leading candidates — George Smitherman, Rocco Rossi, Giorgio Mammoliti, Joe Pantalone, and Sarah Thomson — stand on the issues.

Toronto leads the nation in number of artists
