<description>As a Past Member of the Toronto Public Libraries was instrumental in building the College and Shaw Branch and to Renovate the Dufferin St. Clair Branch and also to adopt a New Multicultural Policy for the Library Board.

As Ward 12 Candidate Joe Renda convinced Mayor David Miller at a public meeting during the past elections to endorse and provide the funds to build The Blackcreek/Eglinton Recreation Centre which would include an Indoor Soccer Field. Ward 12 incumbent has been opposed to an Indoor Soccer Field. Ward 12 Soccer players have to travel to Mississauga and Woodbridge to play Soccer in the Winter.

WE MUST REVISE THE PLAN TO INCLUDE AN INDOOR SOCCER FIELD or Build one on the Green Space at Keele Street and Ingram Drive.

Attract New Investments That Will Create Employment.

Help the youth create their own jobs.
Help Seniors Live In Their Own Homes Longer.
Invest into the Arts by building a Theatre/Library Campus in the Ward.

Build an Indoor Soccer Field on The Green Field at Keele and Ingram

Build a Photography Museum in the Kodak Land Development.

<description>The Arts create the Wellness of the Community. Investment in Theatre, Music, Painting, Photography creates JOBS and keep people healty.

It is better to invest more in the ARTS in order to generate savings in Health Care.

Build new Theatres and cultural centres in the Suburbs.

Please, read my Blog http://joerendaforcitycouncillor.blogspot.com/
